Seizures (absence or petit mal) Report

In absence seizures, also known as petit mal seizures, the person may appear to be staring into space with or without jerking or twitching movements of the eye muscles. It is a brief (usually less than 15 seconds) disturbance of brain function due to abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
