 About Me
Hi everyone. I have been diagnosed with PD for one year. It has been quite a year. I have learned so much about Parkinson's - from books, from my own body, and from all of you here at PLM. Mostly what I am learning is that this road is not easy. It is not meant to be walked alone. I am fortunate to have tremendous support from my family and friends. Sadness and loss overwhelmed me at first, but I am working hard to fill my days with love, and laughter, and living. PD has me thinking about what is important, and meaningful, and lasting in life, and those are good questions to be wrestling with.
