 About Me
After years of hand tremors I was diagnoised with parkinsons in 2006 after notice my right arm did not swing and felt heavy.Diagnoised with early parkinsons even though I was 53years old,in good general health ,good candidate for DBS surgery.In may 2008 I had the surgery,I go about every month for programing.We now have the tremors under control.still working on the stiffness.Its amazing! Only take one pill a day now for parkinsons,azilect. I have total of 5 members in my family with parkinsons.We just lost oldest brother in Jan.2008 with parkinsons.This encourged me to become pro active.
