UTA is a generic of Urimax™, a brand name product that was discontinued. Uta capsules or tablets are a combination of methenamine, sodium biphosphate, phenyl salicylate, methylene blue, and hyoscyamine. It is used for local symptoms associated with urinary tract infections.
