What is Thioridazine?

Thioridazine is a typical antipsychotic agent used for the management of schizophrenic patients who fail to respond adequately to treatment with other antipsychotic drugs. Off label it is used for behavior problems and severe psychosis in children; behavior symptoms/agitation related to dementia.
