What is Ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy?

Ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy is a procedure done to remove and break up urinary stones. A small scope (camera) and laser is passed through the urethra and bladder, up the ureter to the stone. The laser breaks the stone into small particles and are passed through the urinary tract in the urine.
