- I'm the caregiver for my wife who has "Corticobasal Ganglionic Degeneration", which is a very rare disease that's similar to Parkinson's in many ways. But yet very different at the same time. Only one person in 600,000 has this illness. It can only be definatively diagnosed after death by doing a autopsy of the brain. Useful for the medical community but not much hope for my wife and me.
