What is Ephedrine?

Ephedrine is used in the treatment of bronchial asthma, nasal congestion, acute bronchospasm. It is also used to raise the blood pressure in the treatment of idiopathic orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure) and hypotension induced by spinal anesthesia.
