What is Hydroxyzine HCL?
Hydroxyzine is a generic drug in two preparations, pamoate and hydrochloride salts, used to relieve itching caused by allergies and to control the nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions, including motion sickness; also used for anxiety and to treat the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal.

- Didn't work for me, so I told them not to bother giving me a prescription for it when I left the hospital.

- Vistaril was very ineffective in treating my panic attacks, they didn't even make me sleepy even though they are basically a super dose of benadryl. I did have an allergic reaction to a cat at one point, the vistaril did help with that...lol.
