Irritable, grouchy Symptom Report
Occasional grouchiness happens to everyone. Irritability that is persistent may be a symptom of an underlying mental health condition such as bipolar disorder that causes mood swings from excessively “high” and/or irritable to sad and hopeless, with periods of normal mood in between.
