What is Ovral?

Ovral is an international brand name for the combination of ethinyl estradiol and norgestrel. It is used for prevention of pregnancy; and, for postcoital contraceptive as the "morning after" pill. Off label it is used to treat pain associated with endometriosis and for excessive menstrual bleeding.
