What is Omnicef?

Omnicef® the brand name for cefdinir, a cephalosporin antibiotic. It is used to treat community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, acute bacterial otitis media, acute maxillary sinusitis, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, and uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections.
