What is Zavesca?

Zavesca is a brand name for miglustat, a treatment for type 1 Gaucher Disease that cannot take enzyme replacement therapy. Zavesca prevents the formation of glycosphingolipids, which would normally accumulate in organs in Gaucher Disease.
