Caregiver emv128 emv128 knorsk knorsk I've now graduated from PSU and migrated to Columbus to continue my education at OSU College of Medicine. I joined this website with my boyfriend Jason who suffers from schizophrenia. Although he has to deal with symptoms on a daily basis, he has been amazingly strong and resilient. He brings me happiness every day and I can't imagine my life without him. Since joining this website, Jas has made significant progress in dealing with his symptoms. He is in the process of finding a job and plans to meet soon with someone who can help him get financial aid to resume his college education! Icon_message
Caregiver Pepecat Pepecat     I have been married to my husband for 30 years. At the age of 44, he was found to have LOVA (longstanding overt ventriculomegaly in adults). Basically, he has had hydrocephalus all his life. It was never diagnosed at birth. After many years of this extra pressure on his brain, he began to show symptoms making it hard for him to do his job. His symptoms included gait disturbance, memory loss, sleep issues, problems climbing and descending stairs, and much more. He has had 5 different shunt surgeries and now is on disability.
