More about me

I have been married to the most wonderful lady for 33 years. I met Daleen when I attended Collage in CO. in the early 70's. We have 3 Children Chuck, 32 Joe 30 and Tommi 28. Tommi is the one with MS, she is a Floral Designer, Joe, is a diesel mechanic. and Chuck is a truck driver and in the U.S. Army reserve with 1 tour in Iraq. From them I have a mix of 7 grand kids and one due in Feb.

I grew up on a farm and lived there most of my life. I raised livestock and did painting on the side to support my farming habit. I love to hunt and fish but have little time or energy for it any more. I play poker for fun but not money.

I have been very hard on this poor fat body in 54 years. If I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.  I had an 18 ft fall when I was 32 and hit a concrete floor. I broke 2 vertebrate in my back, punctured my spine, broke my right ankle and pelvis. I was lucky. In 1992 I caught a bad case of Micro-plasma pneumonia that almost killed me. In 2006 is suffered a bowel perforation and it took 44 day's in the hospital and 4 surgeries to get me put back to gather.

Since that time I have had lots of little problems I mentioned earlier. The Dr keeps telling me I'm just depressed and I come back with "Of course I'm depressed, I have not slept well for over a year. The cramps in my leg and the thumb thing is getting worse as time goes on. I am looking for people to talk to. Don't know what is wrong but it's something odd and all my online research points to Parkinson's or MS. With 2 close blood relatives with MS I am not sure what to think or do.

This town is cursed with ALS, MS , Parkinson's and Diabetes.
