- At 69, I am now semi-retired, but will never really retire – it’s a recipe for early demise. I was a dairy farmer until 1970, then switched to maize farming and setup Te Awamutu Grain Ltd, (a maize/corn merchant – drying and storage complex) managing it for 23 years. During that time we diversified into desktop publishing, importing agricultural electronic equipment, deer farming, kiwifruit orchards, Budget rental car franchises (3 towns) and built a ten pin bowling center in Tauranga. I now teach anyone how to build a simple, profitable business on the internet.
