About Me: I'm a caregiver to my husband Scott and mom to our daughters Eva, 3 1/2, and Miranda, 7 months. I enjoy gardening, wine, photography, and spending time with my family. I used to enjoy beating Scott at Scrabble, tending a huge garden, ballroom dancing, going out for breakfast to read the paper in relative peace, playing Boggle, traveling to other countries...and many other things that ALS has taken out of our lives. I also work full time as a management and technology consultant, which I find brings me a great deal of satisfaction, accomplishment, and respite from caregiving.

More about me

I'd love to hear from any other caregivers who are also parents of young children. I think it presents its own set of unique circumstances. I've never felt so very needed!
