I’m the Patient Experience Manager at PatientsLikeMe and I oversee our Community Team, which includes both Community Managers and Customer Support. I’m also a Community Manager, so you'll inevitably see me popping up in a bunch of different forum discussions.
A major part of my role here is to work on continually understanding your needs and improving your experiences with our site. I'm also here to help answer questions, and to keep you up to date with what's going on at PatientsLikeMe. Please feel free to share your comments, suggestions and questions with me. I appreciate the feedback!
Before taking on the role of Patient Experience Manager, I worked as a Senior User Experience Designer at PatientsLikeMe. In that role, I designed interfaces and user experience flows as well as organizing and conducting usability testing sessions for the PatientsLikeMe platform. I’ve also worked in public health, computer gaming and biotech. Most recently, I designed research based educational software products and websites for students and teaching professionals. I’m thrilled to have a chance to bring together my interests in health care and education here at PatientsLikeMe. It’s a great combination!
As for my own education, I graduated from Boston University with a BA in Economics and Art History and I earned an MFA in design from Massachusetts College of Art. I like to think that my education never stops though. I learn something new every day.
