- My mother-in-law was diagnosed as OPCA (MSA-C) in 1994, she passed away in 1998 at age 55. I have been the moderator of a Yahoo! Group for MSA support since 2000. The group was originally started by Vanderbilt University and has been in existence since 1995. Currently there are over 1500 members who share information and support each other daily.
