More About Gr8fulAnnie
I'm becoming more public on the Web. I love to learn! I have begun Western Zen Buddhist training with a New Zealand Zen Master over the Internet. I am also taking a year-long course to become a successful entrepreneur (my current title is "Empress-in-Training") by learning marketing, social media and some sales tips. I want to be able to self-promote (not as easy as you might think after sustaining a bruised and broken ego) and self-publish my own writing, as well as developing podcasts, videos, workshops, webinars, telecourses and "New Life Mentoring" related to my website. I have very few "in real life" friends because I don't often leave my apartment unless to run chores or go to medical appointments. I am very grateful that, for the past 14 years, a sweet natured cat named "Imp" has agreed to be my roommate. (NOTE: Imp passed in her sleep on September 24, 2010, but I'm leaving this here in her honor for a while.) I also have a brand new roomie, a kitten named "Dude!" (exclamation included) who looks so sweet in my profile pic. He was about five weeks old when I met him in late July, 2010. He and I are in negotiations about boundaries and biting, as evidenced by how many times I raise my voice to say "Dude!" and the teethmarks on my arms. (He's smart, too, already having learned to keep his claws in, but very stubborn.) Since he's arrived, he's tripled in size, and I found out he's a "Maine Coon," so called because of their extra long and extra bushy tails. Dude's going to be a big ol' boy, maxing out somewhere between 25-45 pounds, depending on who I listen to. I hope I don't have to lift him much when he's full-grown. Already 6-7 months old, Dude's also figured out he's male and, since he and I don't make for THAT kind of a couple, we're going to go visit the vet for a bit of surgery. (edited 12/22/10)
