After a long period of control, I began experiencing seizures again shortly after beginning my freshman year in college. Fortunately, I was able to complete my BA (class of '84), and then continue on to grad school and earn my MA. Since then, now at at age 49, I have remained living with my parents because my continuing uncontrolled seizures have made me unable to leave home, or work, or travel, on my own. In response, I am trying to work as a writer of both prose and poetry, in the hope that I might begin to earn a living at home.
