This was originally given to me as an anti-depressent that is supposed to help with pain. I am not aware of any negative side effects. While I am still always in pain, I can only assume, it would be alot worse without the Cymbalta. The unexpected benefit came as a result of my dosage being doubled for Fibro. Given a number of constant and occasionally overwhelming pressures I am living with, I find it remarkable I haven't gone into any deep depressions and I believe it due to the additional dosage
