GailHD passed away 8/16/2011 from ALS. At the time of her passing she was totally immobile. In bed on a vent. She used a Dynavox to read, write and talk with her eyes. All her kids lived with her and she had her two grandgirls close every day. GailHD was a retired Botanist, did new crops research for USDA.. Of ALS Mom said: "Life is uncomfortable and painful but still a lot of laughs."
