My name is Cheryl, 40 year old mother of 3, and married for 13 years to a wonderful husband and father. In 2007 I was diagnosis of Idiopathic Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. I have taken many medications as treatment for this very devastating disease. With no known cure I was eager to try any method of treatment available within reason. The one thing I did not anticipate was a double lung transplant. But that is exactly what happened. During the month of Janurary 2010, I did all of the pre transplant workup. I was listed on February 1, 2010 and 2 days later got "THE" call of a lifetime.
