About KKmom

I have 7 year old twin girls and a wonderful husband. I was dx with MS in Dec, 2009 along with Fibromyalgia. In the fall of 2007, I was diagnosed with 2 herniated discs, 1 with slight spinal cord compression, and arthritis in my neck. This whole MS thing is a little overwhelming. When I get down, I try to remember things could be worse.

Muscle spasms and cramps are spontaneous, often painful muscle contractions. The rapid, uncontrolled contraction, or spasm, happens unexpectedly, with either no stimulation or some trivially small one. The muscle contraction and pain last for several minutes, and then slowly ease.
