I live in Oregon though I was born in Minnesota and grew up many years in Philly. I am 51 and have had fibro and chronic fatigue for 14 years, and it has been a long battle with many tragedies in my life that devastated my health. In 1998, my precious son completed suicide after 6 years of unrelenting depression. He was my only child. I barely got out of bed for 5 years. In 2005, I found my fiance dead after a night of binge drinking even though he had diabetes. I was again devastated, but I am a Christian and the Lord has gotten me through everything.

I still struggle each day with my fatigue and pain etc., but I am blessed with a man that dearly loves me and helps me in everyway possible. Our first two years together were full of problems and addictions, but God saved us both from destroying ourselves.  We both have to cope with pain issues, but the support of each other and God makes all the difference in the world.
