I had major cramping in my feet, legs,& arms, lots of trigger fingers, for about 8years. I was diagnosed with COPD in April 2009, after ending up in ICU after a big surgery. Felt good for about 2 weeks then couldn't figure out why I was getting more tired and more weak. It ended up to be a diuretic the Respirologist had put me on. (After being diagnosed terminal within a year, I was in tough shape), I made a huge turn around once I got off it. This past year I noticed that my little finger, rt. hand, dropped little by little, then wouldn't do what I told it to. My doc & I thought I had a small stroke. I also had lots of little "heart beats" in my rt. hand, ""aliens" I thought, lol. "Twitches" were also a common thing. So I asked to see a neurologist. Within 5 min. of him testing me, he said no stroke, go see another neurologist. Did the electrical impulse testing, sent to another neurologist for more electrical testing, same diagnosis with all three of them, ALS!! Last fall I got extreme dry mouth, day and/or night no matter. Cheeks literally sticking to my teeth at night, tongue like a desert road. April 2010 diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome. Salogen, 4x a day is my saviour on that one. Also, I would like to tell anyone who will listen, about a natural product named Respiractin, for lung function and respiratory problems. It's actually made in the USA so no problem for you to get it there. Two years in a row now my lung function tests have improved since taking it and no allergies for the first time in my life!!! It can't be co-incidence two years in a row. I know of other success stories with it as well. And yes, my Respirologist didn't believe me either lol, (not so skeptical this year, as the test results are proof). Even my Respiratory Therapist takes it and no allergies for her either this year. Tastes good to, and a little goes a long way. I never even had so much as a watery eye or a sniffle. I recently went to an ALS symposium in Vancouver and a great researcher who had been speaking there, suggested that I double my intake of Quinine, to 600 mg. per day. and guess what? Nearly 2 months later and NO CRAMPS!!!! after 8 years of suffering!! He said not to worry at all that the high dosage wouldn't hurt. I am thrilled beyond words. Good luck & God Bless to all of you. Keep fighting the fight. Gloria
