- I am to take my shot at night before bedtime and I keep forgetting, so now I take it after eating my last meal of the day and it's not so bad. I use an insu-pen which is MUCH better than a regular needle. If you need to take insulin - ask for the PEN rather than the needle. Inject your most fatty part of your body and you won't feel a thing!
