About OccupationalTherapy

Hello, My name is Tarelle. I'm 24 years old. I'm a graduate student at Florida A & M University. My goal is to become a Licensed Occupational Therapist OTR/L. More About OccupationalTherapy

Hello, My name is Tarelle. I'm 24 years old. I'm a graduate student at Florida A & M University. My goal is to become a Licensed Occupational Therapist OTR/L. I'm married and have a beautiful 2 year old daughter. I recently saw a story about ALS on NightLine and was touched by Aimee's story. Before hearing her story on NightLine I had never heard of ALS. When I found out I had to choose a topic for a major project in my professional development class I immediately thought about Aimee's disease. Unfortunately, my idea was rejected by my professor and my group members. I'm still determined to inform others about the disease and would like to get know more people living with the disease and how they feel about spreading the word. My idea was rejected because my teacher said that as a 23 year old I could not experience ALS. Aimee told me about this site. She said there may be someone my age or was diagnosed in there 20s on this site. If your out there I'm really looking forward to talking with and/or writing you.
