More About LinR
I am 57 now, female, still working in a high school as the registrar. I am one of the lucky ones so far, I can still work full-time. I am married, 3 kids, 12 grandchildren. This started in April of 2009--I had shingles. Went numb on my right said for 2 weeks, then 1-1/2 weeks of normality, then my whole right side went numb, electric with lots of shivers, surges, spasms. I was diagnosed in July of 2009 with NMO. Every month thereafter the symptoms continued to calm. As of Feb of 2009, my left side is still quite numb, my left hand is hyper-sensitive, leg is numb, shoulder itches. My hips (both) feel a lot like having cement in them and my neck, on the right side, is like having a constant pulled muscle. I have noticed the cold weather of Wisconsin does NOT help my stiffness. I have no real pain, but many aches. I am blessed.
