Howdy from the Austin, Tx. area! I was diagnosed in 2004, and have been involved with grass roots advocacy for the Lone Star Chapter of the MS society. Such and exciting time to be involved with issues to help those living with chronic illness! Advocacy work through grass roots efforts, and social media is going to change the way we as a "disease community" fight our disease! MS affects you mind, body and spirit. Connecting with others living with MS is our "secret weapon!" Each persons personal story makes a difference. It's another piece to this puzzle. TOGETHER we'll find a cure!

I have 2 grown boys.  Austin is 21 and attends the University of Kansas.  Cody is 19  and attending Austin Community College in Austin, Tx.     I've been married to Cowboy Wayne for 24 yrs.  College sweet hearts!  Both attended the University of Kansas in the mid 80's. Have been living in the Austin, Tx. area for 15 yrs.  We also live in Tulsa, Ok. Where Cowboy Wayne took a job!  Miss Jenny is kind of liking the empty nest thing and the city living thing, but I will always be a country girl at heart!!!
