About heididonahue73

I am a 36 year old female. I have severe chronic headaches and neck pain, along with upper and lower back pain. I was diagnosed 10 years ago with intercrainal hypertention and I was diaganosed with fibromyalagia 2 years ago. I am currenlty waiting for insurance to okay a surgery called Ocipital transmodulation. THis is where the Dr. inplants four things into the head and instead of feelilng pain you feel tingling or a messaging feeling. As of now my insurance is denieing the cliam. So I am applying for SSI, the surgoen who performs this surgury thinks this will help to get the surgery.

More About heididonahue73

I am a 36 year old female. I was diagnosed with intercranilal hypertention 10 years ago while I was pregnant with my first child. This condition causes the spinal fluid to increase and causes pressure on the brain. As a result I have chronic severe head and neck pain everyday. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia two years ago and am currently taking lyrica for this. I am takind Opana and Dilauldid for the ICH wich is also known as Psuedo Tumor Cerebri. I am currenlty seeing a pain specialist who is also a surgeon and performs a proceedure called Ocipital Transmodulation. This places four implants into the head so when pain would be felt you feel a tingling or a messaging feeling. MY insurance is denieing the claim at this time so I am applying for SSI because I cannot work and the surgeon that performs the surgery thinks being on SSI will get the okay from my insurance. I am married with two small children and really I would like to have this proceedure so I can do more things with my family. I also have a VP Shunt on the right side of my head to releave some of the pressure on my head, this is so I wont go totaly blind.  I have already lost a  percent of my sight in my right eye, and I ended up losing more with my second pregnancy.  So I got even worse after my daughter was born.  The doctors told me I would feel better after 6 weeks or so but I actually got worse. For some reason my badge  says I'm a caregiver and I'm a patient and I don't know how to change it.  If any one can help me change it I would really appriciate it.Smile
