25 years ago at age 37, I had 2 bouts of double vision which I learned recently (2/10) after an Ocular tomography was due to a BRAIN STEM EVENT and NOT optic neuritis.(checked ON. Brain Stem Event not option) Brain stem event caused lesions in spine that are causing progressing symptoms years later. Better diagnostics are needed!

I think I have one of the BEST jobs in the MS community:  I am the Development Director for Buffalo Neuroimaging Analysis Center (BNAC). The main goal is to raise $5million for the 1,700-person CCSVI research study that will, we believe, lead to groundbreaking new understanding of multiple sclerosis. I was headed towards retirement and now, despite my secondary progressive MS, am rolling full steam ahead (behind my rollator) to find the resources to complete this very important study. www.bnac.net for more information.
