    Talked on the phone with a neighbor, then my brother. Collaborating on a book project. Got outside for awhile, despite the thunderstorms.

    Mood is good, I've lost some weight, beautiful weather. Pain is tolerable. Off of ambien forever, so memory improved.

    Met one of my neighbors for the first time, a very nice lady. Didn't sleep well, pain is tolerable.

    Doctor told me not to take Ambien and I had a lot of dreams but feel better today.

    Got to babysit with a friend for the weekend. I learned so much from this sweet baby...and my friend. Forgot about "me"-- feels great!

    Anxiety is worse, physical pain very bad. I don't know what is wrong with me, that is what scares me most.

    My physician referred me to a counselor. I also spent some time outside walking.
