- I decided to stop taking Venlafaxine as my emotions were being artificially supressed and I was unable to feel them, as I needed to work through them in therapy. Long term antidepressant use is also linked to weight gain and my weight gain is adding to my pain levels, especially in my knees. I want to reduce these.
