I'm a 59yo ( so close to 60 I can smell it)lol I had what was called a 'NERVOUS BREAKDOWN' in 2001.
I then suffered with depression,anxiety, panic attacks, to the point where I couldn't work. soon after that I started experiencing flu like symptoms, aching all over, every time I went to the Dr. I had a pain somewhere else, back hips, knees stc. pain meds didn't help. Got to the point that the Dr. put me on duragesic, patch which is a very strong narcotic also called Fentanyl, didn't help at all, D r. kept prescribing it for three years. here I am 2009, still in pain tired, all the time . sleep restless d/t pain. read an article on fibro. wow IT WAS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I took myself off the patch. called the Dr. told him what I thought . he finally did an exam, I had all the trigger points of pain. he started me on new drug savella, wow in four days pain free. then the bad news insurance won't pay unless I am tried on cheaper drugs. stopped the savella, started me on Lyrica, ugh tired foggy, and in pain after 4 days
