About Aries18

I am 29 years young. Mother of one beautiful little girl named Brooklyn (7yrs old). I was diagnosed with relapsing/remitting MS in November 2008. My initial symptoms of left-sided leg, groin & back numbness presented in September 2008. I initially had been on (Copaxone) which, did not control my flare-ups and caused terrible site reactions. I am currently taking Tysabri (infusion) every 4 weeks. SO FAR SO GOOD:)

More About Aries18

To date, I have had 5 infusions. I do not feel a difference in symptoms. Lately I have been dizzy and have had an increase in migraines. I contacted my neurologist and explained the symptoms and I was sent for labwork to check my vitamin levels which turned out to be within normal limits. GREAT:) But that does not explain the new onset of symptoms. I just feel SPACEY. That is the only way I can explain it. Very fatigued, the smallest tasks seem to exhaust me. I am a very OPTIMISTIC person and for the most part I am always HAPPY. Anyone who knows me will tell you that. But lately I have been very depressed. I contribute the change in mood to my MS. I have nothing to be depressed about.... my life is not so bad....I have a job, my family is happy and healthy etc.... This disease is very complicated and I dont do complicated. What I do know is I dont give up without a fight...the love I have for my daughter keeps me strong...and I know a cure is in reach.
