I have just relocated from Tenn. to Ohio, this is what my 3 beautiful children wanted me to do.& I am near my son and my grandson (13 years old). My son plays the french horn with the Cleveland Orchestra. i have a daughter in Idaho. She has a beautiful red headed son who is almost 12 years old. Liese works for the US Forest service. My other daughter, Julia, a red head is in the D.C. area. She and her Other Half work for the US Park Service. They are all good human beings---of course I am not the least bit prejudice.
I hope all who read this will realize that each day is precious and PLM is a very special site. It is where friendships are made and personal bits about you are respected.
I WAS DIAGNOISED WITH PARKINSON IN 2003. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY TREMORS, BUT MY SON MUST HAVE SENSED SOMETHING BECAUSE HE WANTED ME TO GO TO A FRIEND WHO WAS A NEUROLOGIST-- YOU KNOW THE OUT COME. BUT WHEN I GOT BACK TO TENN. I WENT TO ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST (DIDN'T TELL HIIM I HAD BEEN DIAGNOSISED WITH PD. HE TOLD ME I HAD PD. SO I TRIED TO ADJUSTED TO IT. WHEN I WENT TO MY OTHALMALOGIST: HE SAID HE COULD TELL ME I HAD PD, BECAUSE MY EYES DIDN'T BLINK AS PEOPLE EYES DO WHO DO NOT HAVE PD . I AM LUCKY I STILL DO NOT HAVE TREMORS, BUT I HAVE OTHER THINGS: MASKING OF FACE, MICRO HANDWRITING(I CANNOT READ WHAT I HAVE WRTTEN IN THE MORNING), DRY EYES AND MOUTH, MY FEET STUMBLE A LOT MORE. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY, OVER THE YEARS NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED.,I CANNOT JUMP OR SKIP AND MY RUNNING IS HALERIOUS. HOWEVER, I 'VE KEPT A DECENT SENSE OF HUMOR.. THIS IS ALL ME. HUGS
