I'm in the process of filing for SSDI and SSI at this time. I put in my applications the last week of September. I have done my interview and I thought it went pretty well. The lady told me to expect to hear back probably in February or so... Cross your fingers for me...

Hello all. I battled undiagnosed pain problems for about 4 years. I bounced from one doc to another, hoping for someone who would listen to me, believe me - FIX me!
           
            It took almost 30 doctors, but I finally got my DX - Fibromyalgia, along with a few other supporting cast to back it up. At this point, we're still playing narcotic roulette until we find out what medication cocktail will provide the most thorough relief.
           
            I lost my job in June, and am in the process of filing for SSDI at this time. If I had not been dismissed, I would have had to quit shortly thereafter due to pain, fatigue, and cognative issues.

 

I am trying to be positive and keep my head up through all of this, but there as certainly days where it gets to me. I still have to remember to be mellow and not overdo anything, lest I throw myself into a nasty flare. Joy of joys there...
