More About rudicollis
Hello.

(You can view more of my paintings at this post.)
My name is Kat. I have been living with schizoaffective disorder/paranoid schizophrenia for nearly my entire life. I am currently working to take hold of my condition and work so that it doesn't affect me as much. My journey has been long, and I wish I didn't have to deal with this, but I have to - I'm stuck with me. Might as well try and live life the best you can.
I have been in the psychiatric hospital 3 times, and wasn't diagnosed until I was 15. I was diagnosed first as schizoaffective, but have also been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic.
I am currently going to school for a PhD in astrophysics, just starting out in my education. I don't know how long it'll take to get my degree, but I'm so excited.
I have past substance abuse problems with stimulants, the worst being cocaine. I also dabbled in drugs like crack, heroin, speed, marijuana, and various psychedelics. I've been clean from drugs of abuse for 3 years, 4 from cocaine.
I smoke cigarettes, non-filter kings. Usually Exeters or Echoes. I will buy Camel non-filtered when I can afford them. I've been smoking since I was 12, or about 10 years now. My doctor advises I don't quit, and I don't plan on it any time soon. Ask me any question and I will debate the importance of cigarettes in my life and mental health.
I spent several years of my life doing web and graphic design for a living. I still dabble in these things regularly. Currently, I don't work and am on disability.
