I have been diagnoses bipolar type II, and when I learned about the hypomanic and extreme depression, it explained quite a bit about my life. I always thought my depression and manic behavior was environmental/situational, but the only thing that didn't change were my symptoms. I am currently trying to understand myself better now, so that I can be more productive and be more aware of how my moods work.
