I am almost 62 and I was shocked on the job by a 3-phase Delta circuit on May 25th, 07. I began seeing workman's comp doctors for tests. I had a field vision defect and short-term memory problems associated with shocks. Within 6 mos. my muscles began twitching. I just had an EMG/NCS which indicated a possible motor neuron disease, non-specified at present. I was dx with ALS back in 08. I researched a lot and during my research I happened upon Lifelink. Question: If abortions are currently allowed up until 9th month, (in some states), why is it considered unethical to freely give my life so that other people can live out their life? An unborn baby has a beating heart and brainwaves before the mother even knows she is pregnant. If a beating heart and brainwaves are used to determine life at the end, why not at the beginning? Even the Bible states that "Greater love hath no man than this, but that he lay down his life for his friend. People decide to give up their lives all the time so that others might live. Why can't I be allowed to do this? Why should I be a burden to society when I could be a gift? I have O pos. blood and I could give organs to many. Instead, I have to suffer and waste away. It should be my decision!
