I am retired and was diagnosed with Parkinsons after symptoms began with a tremor in right hand that was not constant. My doctor and I thought it might be from stress at the time. About a year later the tremor had worsened and I saw a neurologist. At that point I was diagnosed. I also have loss of sense of smell which had shown up much earlier but was not seen as a symptom. Since then I have inquired if this was a symptom and my neurologist does not seem to believe it is. In reading articles online I have found that it can be a symptom.
