I am caregiver to a wonderful man (my husband) who was recently diagnosed (April 09) with ALS. We are just entering this new journey together with our four children ages 20, 15, 13, and 10 shown in my picture. I am working very hard at keeping all of our spirits up at this point as it is such a new diagnosis. The kids are doing very well, my husband and I are still in shock. His symptoms began last November 08 with clonus of the right leg, followed shortly thereafter with slurred speech and then right hand weakness.
