About SillyMe

I was diagnosed while having double vision, don't believe it was optic neuritis. The doctor I saw was a Navy Neurologist at Balboa Naval hospital in San Diego, California. The double vision cleared up within a month. I had no other symptoms for many years. I sold Avon products in the hot CA sun for 12 years. The last exacerbation happened in May of 1999. Since then I've used a walker upstairs, a scooter or wheelchair everywhere else I have a stairclimber to take me up and downstairs. I have been on Betaseron shots since July, 1999.

More About SillyMe

I was offered Betaseron 3 years before I agreed to it in 1999.  I can't prove it, obviously, but I believe if I had taken it then, there would have been no exacerbation in 1999.  MS has been with me more than half my life butg I refuse to let it win!  I go to an MS chatroom every night, it keeps me sane!  LOL
