I have been diagnosed with upper motor neuron dominate als. As of 03/22/12 my neuro is saying shes not convinced that I do not have PLS. She says she will follow for the next year and try to make a decision at that time. So, now I'm back to limbo land as to wether it's als or pls. when she fills out papers for me she puts ALS/PLS so who knows! My personal opinion is umn dominate als but I could be wrong. Whatever it is, I walk with walker very slowly and only close family understands my speech. I use my cell to txt if a person can't understand me. 8 yr old grandson understands all.
