About jvt913

Dx with MS in summer of 2006. I have Minimum symp. Thank God!! My heart goes out to those who are more severely affected than I am. I'm not your typical MS patient. I am holding down a stressful job. I'm a peace officer that works in the desert. .

life is good . Seems like the numbness in my legs is diminishing. The Avonex seems to be reversing some syms. Now if my lightheartedness would go away!!

2/7/09 I think I had my first relapse. My rt foot dropped. walked with a limp.  It came on so suddenly. Man that's scary.

2/27/2010 One year has passed since the relapse. I'm happy to say that I have not had a second one. I can't tell if the MS is progressing or not. Sometimes I fell walking is a wee bit harder. I'm still working. I spoke with union rep and he thinks that they are required to offer me a non custody position if I can't preform my functions as a correctional officer. I love being a officer but if I can't at lest I'll have a job.
