About LianneGoes
I was born in 1955. Married to Frans, who is retired and born in 1944. Together we have five adult daughters. I love to take long walks, ride my bike and ride a snow board. These things are not possible anymore. Luckily I also love to read books, make music and listen to music, activities I still can do as much as I like. I work at the inland revenue as a tax inspector. :-) My goal in life is to enjoy every single day of my life with the abilities I (still) have. Most days I achieve my goal. Me, my grandson (30-07-2010) and my daughter.
I try not to let ALS be the only issue of my life. I play music: clarinet and piano and I go to my job. A great consolation for me is: that my daughters are adults, living independent. I know that even if life is not for ever, I still have time to enjoy life with my husband, family and friends. There are still a lot of things I can do now. I learned from other pALS that even if you are paralysed it is possible to keep a positive strength and to give meaning to your life. I hope I can do the same.
I am very happy that I found this inspiring community of beautiful, helpful and strong people.
