I a very lucky woman married to the greatest man in the world. We were traveling the states playing competitive softball, when this evil disease reared its ugly head. My husband, Ewald (E for short) was diagnosed 2/9/09 with ALS, hand & arm onset. We have 3 grown girls and 5 beautiful grandchildren. I pray every day for a cure so our grandchildren will grow up with their grandpa. Sites like these have kept me hopeful. You are a great bunch of people and look forward to visiting with you.
