About smiles_to_cure

I'm 31 yrs old, home rsidence is in Garden Grove, CA. I have Fibromyalgia for 14 years of which the first 5 years was undiagnosed. I also have Spinal Tenosis which makes pain & neck sniffness alot more unbearable. My health hit rock bottom but through years of going to different health practitioners, I have found alternative ways to manage my illness. Change in lifestyle, diet, exercise is the key.

More About smiles_to_cure

I had fibromyalgia since 18 yrs old...it hit me after a flu that lasted for months then weakened my immune. Doctors couldn't figure out what it was so after going through many different doctors & chiropractors, I was diagnosed of the disease 5 years after that. Of the 14 years having fibro, I also found out I have spinal stenosis, my spine bones on the neck & shoulder area are swollen & inflamed making nerve pains intensive mostly the shoulder, neck & head. I tried all sorts of pain med throught he first 4 years but because my immune weakened it became very sensitive to side effects so I can not take western medication. I had to search for alternative solutions for pain management. I found that massages, acupuncture, acupressure, and herbs are very helpful. But I still get sick all the time especially when the weather is cold or windy. I became very weak & ill 5 years ago to the point that I had to quit my job to recope. With nothing left to lose other than my sick bed, I decided to change my lifestyle and move to a more comfortable climate area. I moved to Hawaii and from then on found the key to cure my illness. I'm now on my third year travel to Vietnam during the cold months to regain my health. I learned that mental health is the first and foremost priority in regaining my health. Taking a big break is healthy if you can do it with a purpose & goal.

I'm dedicating & investing my time to research & understand fibromyalgia to free myself from living the illness & I would love to share it with anyone out there that deals with this illness.
